Welcome to the Fifteenth Edition of the "Living Light News!" Our goal is to provide you with an integrated approach to physical and energetic wellness. We offer pioneering healing technologies and advanced tools for spiritual growth. Living Light creates sacred space for individual sessions and group classes that will empower you to live healthier, be happier and grow faster.
- A Time for Action
We are truly living in amazing and unprecedented times that require our collective efforts of goodness, but many are overwhelmed by either their own personal transformations or current global disasters. Do you feel the call to action but aren't sure how to step forward? Take a look at your personal practice. In these times it is not a luxury, it is a must! Do you have a disciplined daily practice? Be honest...are you using your meditation, shamanic journeying or core-connecting techniques? These tools will keep you grounded in your authentic Self and in the love and light that you have to offer the world no matter what life issues come your way! Right now, I am dedicated to making my sadhana (personal practice) even more of a priority, and I am dedicated to helping others develop a robust spiritual practice as well. Thankfully, TWO organizations have stepped forward with the same commitment, and I am thrilled to partner with them! One Community Programs is pleased to announce the beginning of a year-long Core-Connecting Intensive offered here in Bedford, NH. Monthly gatherings will help you to develop an awareness-based meditation practice, teach you to journey into the center of your heart's desire, and add to your own practice new tools from ancient mystery schools including Toltec, Peruvian and Egyptian traditions. This intensive is a joy to me and supports my shamanic offerings and classes. Please see the Sponsored Events section below for more specifics. Humanity in Unity has been inspired to bring "The Foundation of Wisdom Teaching Program" here to NH. This is a six month program that consists of two weekends, one to kick off the program and one to end the program with conference calls and homework in between. It is a practical, step-by-step journey into self-transformation and provides the opportunity for self-inquiry and applied learning within a structured environment. I am thrilled that the deepest personal training offered by HIU (in the teachings of Sai Maa and related spiritual traditions) will be offered here in NH. It supports the esoteric lineages and teachings offered at Living Light, and it is the perfect invitation for those wishing to take their personal practices deeper. Participants will be trained in working with the issue of soul loss, a shamanic belief that our vital essence or soul can become fragmented as a result of trauma. The trauma may have come from emotional or physical abuse, illness, accident or a loss. Through the course, you will learn firsthand how soul retrieval can help the individual rebuild and renew his or her sense of self by welcoming home this pure essence. This course will allow participants to explore methods of soul retrieval as well as after-care to help the client integrate after the healing. She produces and hosts the show, "Turn to the Stars," which is broadcast LIVE from the MCAM Studio in downtown Manchester, NH. Summer Eclipses of 2010: Sat, July 10, 10am-1pm, $50 This is a fun and enlightening workshop that sheds light on your future! At this workshop you will discover what you can expect to experience for the next 5 to 6 months due to the influences of the Lunar & Solar Eclipses that are occurring this summer. These eclipses normally occur within 2 weeks of each other and they are MAJOR MARKERS in a birth chart that shed light on an area of your life which is about to undergo great change! At this workshop I will teach you what the overall theme of these eclipses will be for you and help you to get a clear picture of what you can expect until the end of the year. The Finger of God Workshop: Sat, Aug 21, 10am-1pm, $50 The Finger of God (also call the Yod) is considered to be a MAJOR CONFIGURATION in a birth chart. It is an indication of "special talents and that this life holds a mission that the person has come here to fulfill." When the Y shaped configuration (or tuning fork) of energy is activated it symbolizes that an "esoteric period of fine tuning" is about to occur in that person's life. The vibration of this energy triggers the chakras to open and to prepare for a re-balancing. If you have one of these configurations in your birth chart this workshop will serve you well! The information and knowledge you gain will be very valuable to your future. If you don't have one of these configurations you are still welcome to join and learn how you can be of help to another who has this configuration in their chart. Saturn Life Cycles: Sat, Sept 18, 9am-5pm, $100 When you experience this workshop you will understand why Saturn's energy is considered "The Teacher." You know those 7 year cycles that people talk about? They are closely tied in with Saturn and the 7 year transit cycle it moves on. Saturn influences provide you with the opportunity to work through obstacles that you will encounter. We will discuss what Saturn's promise holds for you by looking into your birth chart ie. "your life map." The affects of Saturn's influences has been described as "heavy as lead." At this workshop I can teach you how to turn that lead into gold and open new doors in your life which were previously closed. This workshop will give you the tools to know when the obstacles and difficult periods will occur in your life, how it will affect you and the area of your life that will be affected. One of my students who is a therapist said that this workshop should be a requirement for every parent! Kumbha Mela Celebration and Meditation, Mon, Aug 16, 7-9pm, $20 John Mercede joined members of the HIU community during April 2010 to be with Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi, the Crestone Ashramites, Satuwa Sai Baba Mahraji, thousands of other Great Saints & Sadhus and millions of pilgrims on the banks of the Sacred River Ganges in Hardiwar, India, for the festival of the Maha Kumbh Mela. John will come and present a DVD and share his experiences with the group. He will lead us in a deep meditation connecting us all very powerfully to the atmosphere of the Kumbh. They are being taught all across the US. These workshops will create a Shakti wave unifying each of these groups and building a huge grid of light. Beyond Beliefs, Perceptions and Projections~ Discovering the Truth of Who You Are: Sat, Oct 16, 9am-4pm, $108 (additional date and location: Sun, 10am-5pm, $108, at 156 Pead Hill Rd, Wilton) In this workshop, accessing and utilizing a childhood experience, you will explore the beliefs, projections and perceptions that have formulated your life as you live it today. FREE Master Teacher Meditation Programs: Fri, Oct 15, 7-9pm Each Master Teacher Program will have an accompanying free introductory evening of meditation the Friday before the event. Sai Maa's Master Teachers will lead Guided Meditation and offer Sai Maa Diksha, a powerful technique to illuminate the brain. All are welcome, beginners as well as those experienced in meditations. Personal Sessions, Sat, Oct 16, 4-6pm, $144 (Oct 17, starting at 5pm in Wilton, NH) Personal sessions were created by her Holiness Sai Maa to help each of us accelerate our movement into Divine Light. Using both spiritual and energetic methods, the purpose is to open gateways to higher consciousness and provide alignment to the process of enlightenment and ascension. It facilitates an awakening in the spiritual body and moves one deeper into a realization of the Higher Self, the I AM or Divine Light Presence. The focus is on bringing in this supra-mental light (the light of God as energy) into the personality and into the subtle bodies.
